Projects

This page lists the current and future personal projects of mine.

kuizzv3

Kuizz.com is a small, interactive social networking and entertainment site in Turkish. As you may have guessed by looking at the name, the site features quizzes. Visitors can submit their own content to the website, they can become a member and have profiles, message with other members just like in any other popular networking site. Kuizz.com also has a Digg-like voting system which members can use to rate the quizzes, surveys and other kinds of posts.

The site has got around 40.000 registered members and 6500 unique daily visits each day.

NUMP

A little mashup which will be a web tool that helps people keep track of events around. Currently, I am working on Google Maps, Calendar and Authentication APIs integration.

My initial tryout will be on using the tool as an event and news portal for Web 2.0 enthusiasts. That is; a website where web 2.0 and IT related conferences, events and meet-ups are indexed, powered by location based services and APIs. The site will be featuring a socially networked community around itself and will be pretty much like Facebook’s events application.

I have not decided on a name yet, so I will be referring it as “NUMP” (New Unnamed Mashup Poject)
